QUESTIONS WE GET
AT THE FRONT DESK.

What services does Able Wellness Centre offer?
We offer Registered Massage Therapy, Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Osteopathy, IMS / Dry Needling, Kinesiology, Pilates, Personal Training and Group Training, all at 3995 E Hastings St in Burnaby Heights, Burnaby. You can book any of them online or by phone at 604-416-7788.
What are your hours?
Front desk hours are Monday 10:00 am – 7:00 pm; Tuesday 10:00 am – 8:00 pm; Wednesday 10:00 am – 7:00 pm; Thursday 10:00 am – 8:00 pm; Friday 11:00 am – 7:00 pm; Saturday 10:00 am – 6:00 pm; Sunday by appointment. Some practitioners see patients earlier or later, so online booking may show times outside these hours.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
No referral is needed to book massage therapy, physiotherapy, chiropractic, acupuncture or kinesiology with us. Some extended health plans ask for one before they reimburse, so check your own policy.
Can I just walk in?
Yes. We accept walk-ins and new patients. Booking ahead gets you the practitioner and time you want.
Do you bill my insurance directly?
We direct-bill 20 extended health insurers, so you pay only what your plan does not cover. The full list is on the Coverage page.
I was in a car accident. What does it cost me?
In the 12 weeks after an accident you are eligible for pre-approved treatment, and we bill ICBC directly. There is no user fee, except RMT, which is $23 per session, tax included. Report your claim first, then bring us the claim number.
Is anyone there who speaks Korean?
Yes. Care is available in English and Korean.
Where do I park?
Parking is free. There is street parking in front of the clinic and a City of Burnaby lot a short walk away. Buses run along East Hastings, with a stop by the clinic. The lot and the washroom are wheelchair accessible.
What should I wear?
Loose, comfortable clothing for massage therapy, chiropractic and acupuncture. Runners and fitness wear for personal training, Pilates and kinesiology.
How long is a first visit?
Your first visit includes an assessment, so allow more time than a follow-up. Exact length depends on the service you book.
